i heard this aswell, but i also heard that when the police walk up and down to tell the bars to turn the music off... they wait until they r gone and turn it back on again

a think they do that all the time anyway i have been there b4 over last couple of years & seen that happen..............
I have heard that some of the bars along long beach will close around midnight - but some like Cheers Bar (which i've heard is a definate) are open till around 3/4am. I think the bars a gradually opening later. So you never know, by the time you get to Marmaris - there may be more opening later. Well, at least i hope so. x :)

Cheers bar and the other bars on the beach have to stop the music at 1 a.m. but are open until 4.a.m. - but folks its Turkey so if they can play the music they will

i hope so! lol, wouldnt really be the same if all the music has to stop at 12...
I reckon things will be starting to liven up now as season gets started properly. Last year was pretty quiet first week in June but by second week things had really started to kick off.
